It traps 105 mph with only 370hp despite a nearly 4,400 lb curb weight. I guess Mopar is back to under-rating engine HP.

It only picks up 1 mpg city in the EPA ratings moving from the old 5-speed to the new 8-speed. It's funny because it's what we always knew: big engines have enough torque to not need a bunch of gears. I suppose it's why the GM pushrod stuff, in an era of 4 and 5-speed automatics, always excelled at power AND fuel economy, more so than they do today.

But at $44k, you'd have to care an awful lot about looks to pick this over the Chevy SS. In fact, THIS makes the Chevy SS look like an amazing bargain, considering it's a full rung up in every way, including feel.
