69 El Camino to be exact. This is the same suspension design as a B-body (and G-body). For what it's worth, I can vouch for everything said about the suspension during this segment and I am particularly impressed at the attention to detail on the tall spindles as well as the 3-way adjustment coil over shocks. This is way better than just a regular suspension rebuild with some stiffer springs and shocks. I've seen parts similar to this (well, not familiar with coilovers) available for the B-body but I've never been inclined to upgrade this much.
The tall spindles are great for handling as they improve the terrible camber curve of the stock suspension as well as take some load off the upper ball joints. The only real negative is you have to run larger wheels, often at least a 17", to clear the upper control arm. With the decreased unsprung weight this El Camino will ride and handle significantly better than stock.
Very happy to see such good stuff here.
The idea of a kit like this on my Caprice that I can tune is boner-inducing.
