Now this is interesting. Both because of the novelty of a flat plane crank V8 and something from Ford that directly challenges the outrageous Z/28. This engine will be Ford's LS7 which is pretty cool. Maybe Ford can pick up where GM left off, sadly (with N/A V8s). Though it remains to be seen if the architecture is fully compatible with the Coyote or not.

I don't think it will match the Z/28 for handling chops. MR shocks which is nice but GM went a step further with the DSSV shocks.

I wonder what 4 carbon fiber rims cost...
For a 13 lbs per rim weight savings.
Along with no A/C, radio, back seat. This really is the Z/28 competitor, basically the same power output also. This will be lighter.
They even realized that the base Mustang GT looked awful, and the new aggressive body panels actually look a lot better.
I have to hand it to Ford, they are really upping their game.
I wonder what the Shelby GT500 will be set up with.

This makes me all the more anxious to see what GM is cooking up for the Camaro. Hopefully they are able to keep the Camaro lighter than the Gen 5 as planned.
