Murilee Martin has the absolutely right perspective here: this isn't simple at all, and no one should pine for stuff like this compared to fuel injection.

1987 Civic found in a junkyard and headed to the scrapper. Of course my Caprice has 289k so I can scoff at the 284k on this Civic, especially since my Caprice is still on the road and emissions legal even. I don't understand why Honda offered carburetors as long as they did in the 80s but they did.
