CT6

Post by bill25 »

I was driving home the other day, and I saw a car that looked exactly like the CT6, it didn't have the crying headlights though.

It was an XTS. It looked really good. I didn't realize how alike they looked until I saw a vary new XTS.

I wonder if it was a bad idea to make them so similar. To an enthusiast, the CT6 has a better drive train (not the 4 cylinder), better platform, better everything really.

The average person might just see an XTS with a facelift, and not care like they didn't care about the XTS. Then again, they might not even know what an XTS looks like...

The CT6 will ultimately replace the XTS, so maybe it's not a bad thing. People that care about how a car feels to drive won't like the XTS but they will love the CT6.

I am questioning if they will give it a chance since they look the same.

Does anyone think the XTS is bad looking? I mean, I guess someone probably does...

I thought it looked great on the road. I can't explain the total lack of interest.

I also thought the STS-V looked great. Unfortunately, nobody bought that either. I would have been pretty frustrated if I was a Cadillac STS-V engineer.
