Free VIN Check Site

Post by bill25 »

I tried this out, and it found that my Z24 was a salvage in 2000.

A maximum of five searches can be conducted within a 24-hour period per IP address.

So I did run my old Fleetwood.

VIN: 1G6DW52P6SR711310

And look at that - the site correctly identified the shady past.
VINCheck® Total Loss Record
VIN: 1G6DW52P6SR711310 has been identified as a vehicle listed in the VINCheck® Salvage Records.
Date of loss2008-12-19 Cause of loss Collision
Date of loss2008-12-19 Cause of loss Comprehensive
I don't know why it is listed as collision. Should be just comprehensive. But the date is correct.

Of Fleetwood interest (since I can't remember if I made another thread for this - if so I'll move this):
