I saw that. What years though? First gen CTS didn't even have remote start. My SRX does, though.

I think a manual shift would also decrease the likely hood of a modern vehicle getting stolen. I read a local news story out of New Orleans a while ago and a guy tried to car jack someone's Corvette, he couldn't drive stick and the car stalled, so he jumped out and ran away. I bet if I got something with a 3 on the tree then they would really be flumuxed.
These days a manual transmission is probably a greater deterrent. Which is hilarious and incredibly sad.

My CTS-V has that, AND the OnStar is disconnected (Galaxy 1000 BT unit in its place).
