More great journalism from RCR. I forgot how prevalent tasteless mods are in the Corvette world. Come to think of it, I don't think I ever went to a Corvette-specific event when I owned my Z06.

I was going to say the only car-specific events that I really ever liked were the B-body ones. And today, those would definitely be more interesting to me than a Corvette event because they don't make B-bodies anymore. Of course, they never made B-bodies from the time I was old enough to drive...

Of course I wouldn't want to go to a Camaro-only event either.

I enjoyed the Lotus-specific events more than most other car-specific events I can think of. I think a lot of this has to do with the Elise-owning demographic.

I found that B-body demographics, at least 10 years ago, were pretty diverse. Although in my opinion, the best cars emphasized powertrain with some tasteful exterior treatment (and not like 20" wheels). But that's my preference.
