Best comment, unrelated to the CTS-V or even the LT4:
I could really care less about all that, all I know I I daily drive an all motor Corvette Z06 LS7 that has gone 10.18@136 in the quarter less then a month ago. Had the car for over a year now, and not a single problem with it.
Heads/cam/intake C6 Z06 goes low 10s @ 136? Man that is probably awesome to drive. So I thought I'd do a little calculation.

What would it take to modify the Ford Voodoo up to that kind of power? First, I estimated what his LS7 is making and I came up with about 645hp at the flywheel, assuming he is at stock weight. I can back this up easily if anyone is interested. 140hp from H/C/I is pretty believable anyway, especially on the LS7.

Now, we know the Voodoo is rated at 526 hp @ 7,500 rpm. The torque output at that RPM is then 368 lb-ft, almost 86% of the peak torque. Assuming you wanted to make 645hp with the Voodoo, you would need to make that 368 lb-ft at 9,200 rpm. And that's if it is really able to maintain that torque output to that RPM. Maybe a 9,200 rpm HP peak is possible with a modified Voodoo.

Also I wonder how the Voodoo compares to the LS7 for manufacturing cost (or crate engine cost).

I like how this post had zero CTS-V content.
