Still no email response... The ad said call or text. I hate craigslist. I am starting to think that there is no good way to buy a car.

Adam, are you available this weekend at all to drive to the NY line (just over the CT line) for this car? You're the G-body guy.

Maybe. I need to be at my place to wait for the furnace repair guy Saturday morning (its a rental, they can pay someone else to fix it). The rest of the weekend may be dedicated to Caprice disassembly which Jenn wants to be involved in on Sunday at least. What day were you planning on going?

The guy is refusing to answer any questions or send any pictures. I am not sure I want to waste my or anyone else's time on this one.

LT1 Monte For sale:

LOL. Not the new LT1. Some good stuff done already: GN rear, stronger trans. Exterior looks worn, lost it's spoiler, if it is a true SS. Interior looks like an SS although the red seats look off. Sweet Pit.

When you said not the new LT1 I thought you meant not the 5th gen small block. But you meant the 90s one.

Power windows! So many features. Also includes hot-air intake.

One suspect thing: Why would you need to do a cam-swap on a '70 'vette LT1? 6500 RPM not high enough? 370 (gross) HP too low?
