Lots of stuff here...

Apparently his 3 month old Hellcat needed some kind of radiator and fuel rail repair. Nice. Also he has a video ranting on the build quality of the car. He was going to sell the Hellcat and buy a truck but he ended up with a 2005 Silverado HD2500 w/ Duramax and like 13k miles. I am not sure if he is selling the Hellcat now.

Issues with the car, pretty minor nitpicks but also not totally irrelevant when discussing what they may have skimped on to offer 707 hp:

To be honest I expect none of these issues even on a car like this.
Actual warranty/recall mechanical things:

Coolant leak at 4,600 miles. Needs new radiator. As much as I want to hate on it for that, I don't think that, or the fuel rail replacement (recall) would translate into radiator or fuel rail issues at 100k. Time will tell.
Also, Corolla loaner?

Re: Street Speed 717 on youtube
Don't worry, all new cars are terrible. People give them a free pass, though, because the repairs are covered under warranty and the get a different car to drive while the repair is performed.
A lot of times, parts are replaced preemptively on new stuff because it could fail under some conditions that the specific car may never see, so it might seem more terrible than it is.
Most of us never see this because this typically only happens in the first 6-12 months of a model's life. Depending on the manufacturer, the repairs can be done on a lot car before it is ever sold. So there is a pretty good chance the "new" car you just bought has already had to have been taken apart for something.

He tells this wonderful story about warranty/customer service. And mentions they contacted him on YouTube......
So....we learned nothing at all about FCA customer service.

Re: Street Speed 717 on youtube
Now the clutch burnt up at 5,000 miles.
Re: Street Speed 717 on youtube
Hellcat is gone. Now has Z06.
What he's up to lately: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=hJ8i-Ht1vQ0
This is great. Comments, too. I wish we had a Chick-fil-a up here.

We do, it is in Warwick on Rt.2. (Chick-Fil-a)
Re: Street Speed 717 on youtube
I wonder if some of these issues have something to do with the demand, and having to figure out how to produce way more than expected.

I was just impressed that they prepared and packed $100 worth of food in 3 minutes. The comments were funny. One guy was like "when I go to McDonalds and get 2 big macs I have to pull around and wait."billgiacheri wrote:I wonder if some of these issues have something to do with the demand, and having to figure out how to produce way more than expected.
Wow, looks like they are a good company.
http://www.chick-fil-a.com/Food/HandcraftedQ: How much money did Chick-fil-A give to scholarship recipients in 2012?
A: Since Truett Cathy established our first scholarship program in 1973 to encourage Chick-fil-A restaurant employees to further their education, Chick-fil-A has earmarked a portion of its proceeds to give back to its team members in the form of college scholarships. 2012 was no different, with $1.39 million in total scholarships awarded. Over the past 40 years, Chick-fil-A has provided more than $30 million in Leadership Scholarships to more than 30,000 restaurant team members who have attended more than 3,100 colleges, universities, and other educational institutions.
Damn. So all this efficiency despite making real lemonade, biscuits, hand fileted, breaded and fried chicken, and chopping their own vegetables in each store, every day. I've never worked in this industry but that sounds way better than average for fast food to me.
