Long Term Rental

I am helping my wife's friend find a good deal on a rental car for her upcoming 5 week visit to Charlotte. Came across this pricing issue with Hertz.

Jeep Patriot: Terrible at any price. Especially that price.

I am pretty sure you can buy a lightly used former rental Jeep Patriot for not much more than that.
