Pretty much follows the Sloppy formula:

This recipe makes for what we can only imagine is a wickedly-fun, quiet-looking sleeper straight from the factory. But throw 15 pounds of boost, a cam, methanol and an upgraded torque converter at it, and you have yourself an almost 9-second car.

136 trap....add a few MPH to that and he'll be in the high 9s. And this is on the LS3, which is not optimized for forced induction.

Let me comment on the styling since there are some good shots of it. I still like the way this car looks but I think one of the issues is the styling is just outdated. It looks like it was designed in the late 2000s. As a buyer of used cars, I don't really "see" outdated styling, which is maybe why I don't have a problem with it.

I'd say even then it was fairly conservative styling. In 2016 it just looks old.

It looks like a generic rental car. Good for a sleeper, bad for anything else design wise...

Everything about this is awesome, G-Body, sleeper, everything I have said about GM getting praise for making stuff easy for the aftermarket:

yah, that 3rd Gen Hemi and the new (whatever designation it is now ) multivalve Ford cammer motor are really something, but they just do NOT get it done the same way that the much more concise and much more cost effective LS pushrod wedge motor does. Plus GM made the EEM on the LS s swap friendly, while Ford did not, and (dumb ass) Chrysler intentionally made their Hemi deal a big pain to swap and modify ...... and then certain people wonder why LS motors are getting stuffed into all kinds of rides. With the plush power of a less expensive LS engine, I can live with all of my pushrods lined up in a row on either side of the motor and with my single cam still in the block. Go GM !

That works. Frankly I'd rather see that than the Malibu anyway. Those cars have been played out on drag strips since the late 90s.
