Yes, big news. I discovered this while I was doing tool organizing. It was on the lower shelf of the work bench in the basement.
Seems to be a miniature deep cycle, or maybe a blend between starting and deep (i.e. "heavy duty"). It is dry and I bet it would work perfectly if I filled it with distilled water and electrolyte. I think it is 12V.
I can't find any info about it. Eastern was a General Battery Corp company. Can't find anything on them. I don't know what "dry charged" means, unless it already has electrolyte and just needs water. Everything I could find quickly on "dry charged" relates to AGM sealed batteries.
I also don't know what silver cobalt is. Does that mean not lead acid? So many questions...
Applications include powering one of my inverters to do...stuff.

It looks like Dry Charge Batteries are intended to be used as a long term storage option. You could use one for inverters, but I don't see the benefit other than you already own it. I would prefer not to have to handle sulfuric acid with the power out (I do dumb things).
