I want a Corvette C5 but I wanna pay more, go slower and not have an LS.
Pretty much. Wait what? C5??? Yup, C5.

The XLR-V would be worth reviewing at least.

Has my CTS-V steering wheel and climate controls. Oh parts bin cars. This might be GMs last really blatant parts bin car, too. That makes the XLR-V pretty interesting...

The Northstar problems he describes don't apply to the 2004+ RWD Northstar.

Or maybe that was the Solstice/Sky. Ironically, they are all roadster type vehicles.

Not too surprising since roadster = low volume and that usually means a lack of capital allocated for development.

I am actually disappointed that they didn't continue the Solstice/Sky as a Chevy. I think it could have looked good, and it was cool that GM was starting to have some diverse vehicles in it's lineup. The Solstice was too round, but the Sky with a Chevy badge would look pretty good. There are some videos of the Sky LS swapped... Pretty awesome.
