I am baffled at several comments referring to poor resale as the reason they wont buy one.

Poor resale is a good reason to delay a Cadillac purchase. I guess pretty much every competitor in that class also has poor resale.

That was my point. And cars in this class make great used cars because of it. Unless they are in that 10 year old, sketchy German group.

I like the idea that the Omega CT6 w/ 3.0TT and AWD gives you a much larger car than the CTS, plus AWD, and you pay like a 100 lb penalty (and more money). Not that AWD is a requirement. I still really like the V-sport though. I guess the reason I mentioned it is because Redline Reviews pointed out that potential V-sport buyers who want AWD should look at the CT6 3.0TT, since the dynamics are apparently about as good.
