Nope. Personally, if I wanted to spend $18K on something, it would be $9K on a PPV and another $9K on some turbo-LS contraption.

Actually, more like $9K on a turbo-LS and 6x $1500 cars.

I tried to rent an ATS last night at National for a $40 surcharge, but they wouldn't do it because it was a one way rental. Only thing they had left was a Town & Country - poor me. When I walked out to the lot, I noticed the ATS was a 2.0T.

I guess it is a little frustrating that there are basically two types of performance cars: pretty big, V8 (Camaro, Mustang, Challenger/Charger) or "Hot Hatch". Where are the smaller sized RWD or AWD performance CARS? Just seems like a lack of variety.
Did they stop making the WRX, Lancer EVO, Subaru BRZ, and Miata? I truly haven't paid attention to new cars in many years.. When I realized that spending lots of money on a car is stupid and that new cars have no soul.
I suppose there should be an enthusiast buyer's guide for sub-$5000 cars somewhere... Maybe a thread here?
Though, $5k is a bit spendy for a car..

I mean those are legitimate options, 3 of them are 2 seaters though which I understand is still cool, just not super practically for me. I thought the EVO was over. I could be wrong about that. Maybe there isn't a demand for a halfway decent "dad mobile". Mazda had the MazdaSpeed6. I guess there is probably an AWD V6 Fusion... Maybe I should invest on BWW tools/mechanics classes and just hot rod a 3 series. You can get those for 3K.
