Is it because you don't enjoy people modifying their cars to increase their acceleration, deceleration, and handling performance?

2015 is the last model year in the US. There may be some 2016s in Japan, according to the Internet.

You can still buy 2015s with some attractive finance and lease offers!

Speed is cool but the basis for the car needs to appeal. The Australian car enthusiast market appears to be some kind of split between US-like muscle and Japanese-like tuner stuff. They are decidedly on the tuner side and have done zero V8 stuff that I can recall.

I did enjoy the two part homemade EV episode. That was a lot more interesting than most of their other stuff has been.

They pulled an LS1/2 out of a Monaro and put it in an S15 Silvia.

Also, what is the "tuner side"? People who don't modify V8's? There are other engines besides V8s. However, 100% of the cars I currently own have them, so maybe I'm not the best person to be making this argument.

I didn't want to name names but...

Drift cars, 4 cylinder FWD, 4 cylinder turbo anything, JDM anything, OG Mini (or really even the current gen if the objective is to modify), Subarus, S13s, Skyline/GT-R, Honda S2000s (Hondas). I'm not being stubborn, I just don't identify with that stuff. And those guys seem to be catering toward a car culture that does. Therefore, I'm not that interested in most of what they do (with some exceptions obviously). If I saw more of a mix, then you could call me out. As it is, I have like 15 OTHER Youtube channel subscriptions that better mate with my interests. I don't think that's a crime.
