Did RCR make a video of the truck too? I want to witness his ride along. He's going to be speechless.

There is a video, but it is mostly just burnouts. I kind of wanted to see what rolling acceleration is like.

Is the turbo only driven by one cylinder bank?

No. What he does is have a regular manifold on the driver's side, then it dumps into a crossover that flows up into the passenger side manifold (at the rear). This manifold is specially built to have a larger, uh, manifold to accept the exhaust from the driver's side as well as the exhaust from that bank. Then the turbo connects to an outlet in the front of that custom manifold. Someone even has a video on how to make that (possibly Justin Sane).

RCR says output is 430hp....even at the rear wheels that doesn't sound right. I guess that's why he didn't want to dyno it. I thought he was making over 600 at the crank.

I thought it was because all it does is spin the tires?

That's a neat setup. Seems easier to package it that way than do the traditional cross-in-front-of-the-engine thing you usually see on single turbo V-engines.

I think you slice open the manifold and then slice open a 3" pipe and weld them together. Or something.

Yeah I was right. That is low.
