Murilee Martin has a Model Bloat tag on Jalopnik and it has a few things of interest.

The Camaro one is interesting though he posted that incredulously in 09, when the Camaro SS was a "startling" 3,7xx lbs. He didn't even get to see the almost 4,300 lb ZL1 convertible. And certainly not the 6th gen which quite redeemed itself.
