Copied in case it goes away
Hey retarded Saturn owners
Please explain how people screw up the name
Of their car .. LMAO if I see one more
Ad for a Saturn ls1 I may shit myself it's sl1 you botards
Bob hypothesizes that he is combing Craigslist for "LS1" and has had to wade through Saturn ads (none of which would contain an actual LS1, or probably be of any other interest to him, which is why it's hilarious).

An additional bonus point is awarded for a somewhat-humorous filling out of the other information:
1900 Sofa king we Todd did
condition: like new
cylinders: 12 cylinders
drive: 4wd
fuel: diesel
paint color: purple
title status: missing
transmission: other
type: other
I'm sure this is considered quite witty in SC...

Oh shit, that's right. LS1 and LS2. Now this just got properly funny. He can't even get his wish.

Do they still have leaded gas in SC?

Not sure if it's leaded, but the part of SC I buy gas in is $1.45 for regular.

LOL
The five-speed tranny is from a Saab 9-3. There's some irony here. Saab engineers need to have a look at the Saturn's shift linkage. Whereas both the Saturn and the Saab use a rod linkage rather than a cable setup, the Saturn's shifter feels more direct and has less sloppiness than the Saab's.
First independent rear suspension and now the shifter? So humiliating!

Background: Poltrino had one of these. It is built on the GM2900 platform (aka Vauxhall Cavalier), same as the first gen Saab 9-3. We checked out Poltrino's car in the parking lot one day knowing this, and Ed was "pleased" to discover IRS, which is not on his Viggen.

Then again, it sounds like the platform was improved for the Saturn. "Stiff chassis" is a High.
