Roadkill Garage pilot

Post by kevm14 »

This is the first episode to really try making the case to subscribe to Motor Trend On Demand. All remaining episodes of this new show are only via subscription.

Anyone taking the plunge? I will say I've been enjoying the smart TV features of my new TV (even though it pales in responsiveness to Media Center). I'm sure I'm not going to find a Motor Trend On Demand app in the Samsung apps. So watching the on demand show would require using a web browser and a mouse which is lame. Actually, I have no idea what a subscription actually costs.

You agree that your subscription is for individual use only and your subscription is limited to only one simultaneous stream at a time.

Right now the only place you can watch it is on the web. They have "coming soon" listed for: iOS, Android, Roku, Apple TV, Xbox, and Playstation. ALthough if you follow the link, there are iOS and Roku app links.

There is also this interesting tidbit:
Motor Trend OnDemand apps can be used on up to 3 devices at any given time.
Not sure if this enforces their "one simultaneous stream" rule or not.

You're clearly just using the incorrect remote for your htpc. Treat yourself to the $22 Aerb 2.4G from amazon and you no longer need to use a separate mouse (or keyboard) for most things. You can try mine sometime if you like.

My parents and wife are able to use browsers on my htpc to access youtube, netflix, and amazon video. Just put them as home tabs to auto load on the browser. Done.
