Met a new car person at work

So I'm finishing up talking to Adam in the parking lot after lunch when Dan, his GF and their friend Ken see me about to walk inside. Dan shouts "Hey!"

Turns out they walked by my CTS-V and Dan thought I should talk to Ken about that. It also turns out that Ken just bought....a 2013 ATS. So we checked it out.

2013 ATS, like 35k. Base model, RWD. Ex-rental. I think he said it was like $19k. I checked the SPID and it had FE2. I think the ATS is a very nice looking car. Kind of reminds me of a slightly shrunken and refined 1st gen CTS.

But that's not all.

I was checking out the tires (17s). He had Michelin Pilot Super Sports! I was like, man, you sure got some good tires on this thing. I asked if he was previously interested in this car and he said, actually, no. He came across it and thought it was a good buy and he knew of the ATS, just wasn't hunting for one. You can also imagine my shock and glee when he told me what he REALLY wants....a Chevy SS.

So this guy has some good taste. Hopefully I can drive that thing sometime.
