Infiniti Q50 Red Sport 400
Re: Infiniti Q50 Red Sport 400
I have to admit I did enjoy the Q50 2.0t I rented recently. That could be just because I haven't driven an ATS yet.
Re: Infiniti Q50 Red Sport 400
It may also be a reflection of the cars you typically get as rentals. You probably don't get a lot of these 3-series type vehicles, so pretty much anything is going to seem much closer to your vehicular preferences than most of the other things you tend to rent. It may also be that the 2.0t is the more compelling Q50 whereas the Red Sport 400 is overreaching.
Re: Infiniti Q50 Red Sport 400
Yes, the Q50 is a cut above what I normally get for rentals. For sedans, typically the best I am going to get is something like a 300C, Impala, Lacrosse or Maxima (typical premium cars found at National). Even the XTS still shows its FWD roots. As a mid-pack performer in its segment, the Q50 is still better than any of the normal premium cars.

The only thing this has going for it is available AWD. At the base price, Chevy SS. At the as tested price, CTS V-sport. That was easy.
