I think this article adequately describes what it's like to have a car that drives better than the numbers would suggest.

At under 2,000 lbs the Elise doesn't really need an article explaining why numbers don't always matter. The Focus RS has normal car weight and is built on a normal car platform. It's not the same thing.

So 0-60 and 1/4 were almost identical. Camaro has the edge in speed through the quarter, Elise has the grip and gas mileage and waaaayyy less weight. 25 mpg compared to like 17 I think for the Camaro.
