Old thread alert.

It's got a bunch of hybrid garbage which is probably why it weighs 3,930 lbs. Not sure what the point is. It gets 21/22/21 mpg for ratings. The C8 will be worse in city but better highway and probably about the same combined. So again...what was the point?
Oh Honda. Brakes are just too hard for Honda.

According to our testing, a 2017 NSX dispatched the 0-60 sprint in 3.1 seconds and raced through the quarter mile in 11.3 seconds at 123.6 mph. Impressions confirmed.
This thing puts up like identical numbers to a $65k C8. Maybe slightly better. Only slightly. The NSX now rushes to 60 mph in 3 seconds flat and through the quarter mile in just 11.2 seconds at 124.0 mph.

This car costs $165k. I am not impressed. The C8, even loaded up to profitable levels, is legit half this price.Around the figure eight, the new NSX posted a 23.8-second lap, six-tenths off the pace of the 2017 car—keep in mind the old car's racy tires, though. It also pulled 1.00 g around the figure eight, three-hundredths down from our previous test. Testing director Kim Reynolds noted abrupt brake fade, though.
"I had to bail out of a couple of corners because I couldn't stop soon enough," Reynolds said. Maybe the ceramics would have been a good idea. "Good power, though, and shifting is really great. This car used to have an overwhelming video game quality to its handling, but now it's genuinely authentic and fun."
