This is a full blown, 3/4 ton, nearly 7,000 pound beast. Much heavier duty than the Raptor.
This comment made me laugh.
I could see that.The comparison between this and the Raptor have gone on since, well, 2010 when Ford finally built something suitable for heavy offroading. But the missions are 180° in separation. One is a half-ton based desert runner, the other is a 3/4 ton based boulder basher.
The PW, as mentioned, has 71 years of expertise in being the everything truck. It's not for everyone, but those of us that live in mountain country, use trucks for their intended purpose, comes equipped with things usually reserved for the aftermarket scene, the PW is a great choice.
I actually see these offroad. Raptors are typically reserved hogging two parking spots at the mall....and yoga class.
Of course the Colorado ZR2 is a legit offering, and in some ways, better than either of these.
