I would agree. The car wrapped around it, though....
Also I don't understand why he disparages the Vulcan. I used to do that a long time ago until I learned it was actually pretty solid (if uninteresting). I will call a reliable engine when I see it. The Essex 3.8L, on the other hand, was not good. And that was even more obvious when contrasted with basically any fuel injected Buick 231 (i.e. 3800, or even the original turbo V6).
