Hood hilarity

I was driving in to work on Tuesday (or maybe it was Monday) and on the bridge, I saw a car coming the opposite direction. It looked like a Hyundai Elantra sedan but it looked funny. As it got closed and passed me, I realized why: the hood had flown completely open and was against the windshield.

I had to take 5 seconds to process what I had just seen.

What the fuck?!?!

No, they were driving (in the left lane!) and looked to be in control. It was very odd.

I don't always drive 60mph, but when I do, I make sure my hood is smashed against my windshield.

I was not able to visually confirm an Ace Ventura. They may have been squinting out of the hood-cowl gap. For safety.
