Oh no!

Directly after washing....coincidence? I dunno but this is the very first bulb failure of any kind on any of my Mercedes products. Granted I've had three in 4 years, but I still have two of them...

Try these two:
N000000000853
or
N600000000000

OEM may well be Philips...

Going to buy two.

Two bulbs from dealer shipped are $17.85.
Two bulbs from Rockauto shipped are $6.36 (for the saver shipping, and $7.43 more to match the dealer claim).

Took a week as usual to get a round tuit.

Decided to use ramps. Loosened main bottom cover enough to sneak the front cover out. The marker lamp is a bit up there but I was able to shove my arm in far enough to grab the bulb plug and twist to remove. Pretty simple. Left side very burnt out. Right side was working on it.

I did have an "issue" with the left side marker lamp attachment bracket. It sort of sandwiches into the bumper cover and popped out due to the way I was trying to twist the bulb plug back in. So I had to study it for a while and figure out a method to get it back in. Two people would have helped and probably standing under it on a lift would have also helped. But I got it snapped/sandwiched back in. It looks like there should be retaining screws but there aren't - on either side.

It also seemed like maybe you could pop the lamp out of the bumper but that would not be a good idea because there is no way to hold the bracket in place from the outside. You'd have to go from underneath/inside. So I think my method was correct.

Since I knew what happened on the left, I worked a little more carefully on the right side to untwist and twist the bulb plug back in without disturbing the weird bracket sandwich. That worked, probably because the O-ring drag on the pass side was a little less. That side took like 60 seconds.

Fixed forever, for under $8.
