Vans for sale
Re: Vans for sale
Ah, Sleather. My favorite movie.
HA. Runs out good. Needs body work. But only if you're farther than 20 feet away.IT LOOKS GREAT TWENTY FEET AWAY OTHER THEN THAT IT RUNS GREAT AND SHIFTS SMOOTH
Due to warrants.I'M MOVING OUT OF STATE
Re: Vans for sale
Ha! Warrants...
In all fairness... Even I would not touch any part of the interior of that van. And I like vans.
Also, the IROC motor was a lot of effort... for what? For that much work, I would have wanted LS1 power or better...

Re: Vans for sale
At least you weren't confused like Brian "how they fit a Camaro engine in that van, with the tiny engine bay."
Right. In its defense, the peak output of that TPI 305 was on the order of 225 or even 230hp, with very good off idle and torque characteristics. It would trounce anything available for that van in 1979. Maybe the price was right. Clearly someone with a 1979 van has a 1986 Camaro laying around (on blocks?). You know. A late model. Also, the IROC motor was a lot of effort... for what?
