Citing increasing CAFE standards as a hurdle, it sounds like building a Holden VF-based successor to the SS (perhaps to expand the model lineup) is off the table. So, we've enjoyed quite the performance wars in the past 10 years. But is CAFE finally going to put a stop to the fun? I say, yes, unless you want to pay out the ass for something needlessly complex just so it can get the right EPA estimated score. This is where I have a problem with the rules. I hope my CTS-V isn't the most interesting car I'll ever be able to afford.
