But this seems to be on par with the Z/28 based on the info we have so far. Ford seems to have spared no expense going after the Z/28, with carbon fiber wheels. However, I think their model strategy is interesting. It looks like the GT350R will be more expensive than the Z/28 while the GT350 will be a little less. The GT350 seems like an answer to the Camaro ZL1.

Sadly for Ford, they are chasing the old GM models with their new models. And being on par...with the old models.

Well the unofficial time was 5 seconds faster than the Z/28's but the Z/28 time was all on video and the track had some partial wet sections. So, my conclusion with all of those variables is...."on par," until we know more.
