2017 Camaro 1LE
Re: 2017 Camaro 1LE
Also the MR shocks are included so the 1LE option is going to be more than the $3,500 that it was on the 5th gen. Maybe closer to 5 grand. Which may be one reason it is now available on the V6.
Re: 2017 Camaro 1LE
Now, with the package available on the 1LT V-6 (which starts at $26,695), it might be possible to snag a 1LE for about $30,000. If that’s not reason enough to drop the “V-8 or die!” line, we suggest you go test-drive a six-cylinder Camaro right now. We’ll try not to say we told you so.
I took these to say that the 6 was the better of the 2, and that they were promoting the 6 Granted they don't totally come out and say it.Adding the 1LE’s extra helping of grip and track-readiness to that sort of acceleration capability sounds great to us, although determining a favorite between the two 1LEs may prove exceptionally difficult. Already, the lithe V-6 Camaro strikes us as the sports car of the family, with the brutal V-8 model doing its best impression of a Corvette with a virtually useless back seat.

Yeah nothing about that says the V8 is not recommended.
Re: 2017 Camaro 1LE
It kind of sucks that these are mandatory on a track car. I heard these add weight over regular shocks, and as stated they add cost, and added cost for replacements/maintenance. I am totally fine with the Gen 5 1LE not having the MR shocks. Also the MR shocks are included so the 1LE option is going to be more than the $3,500 that it was on the 5th gen. I also think that it is interesting that a ZL1, supercharged is automatically going to happen when Chevy only really did this on 1 gen Camaro in any production amounts.
