Every F150 I see driving down the road, late models included, has a very disconcerting bed vibration over bumps. GM trucks do not.
Reminds me of this:

Aluminum Fords vs mixed material GMs
Re: Aluminum Fords vs mixed material GMs
I agree GM trucks are better. That doesn't mean all aluminum is bad. There isn't anything stopping Ford from using aluminum on more vehicles. I don't understand your arguments.
Re: Aluminum Fords vs mixed material GMs
Ford spent a ridiculous amount of money to get a merely competitive result on one vehicle. People acted like Ford was somehow "ahead" because of that, when it's the opposite.

This is from your pasted quote:
And the lessons learned will be applied to more vehicles including the SuperDuty pickup and next-generation Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator full-size SUVs.
Re: Aluminum Fords vs mixed material GMs
Right and the problem is, it sounded like most of the costs were in gutting and retooling, not "learning.". They would probably spent a good chunk of those costs again in a new facility. And they were some hefty costs. So once again, I stand by what I said.
